Description:

Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will be required to work on a variety of vehicles such as: passenger vehicles, four wheel drives and light trucks.

In this varied role you will be responsible for:

  • Removing and replacing tyres
  • Diagnosing tyre damage and wear
  • Selecting correct tyres, tubes, wheels and accessories
  • Diagnosing wheel balance problems and balancing wheels
  • Fitting and replacing Car and 4WD accessories i.e. suspension, snorkels, tow bars etc
  • Removing, replacing and diagnosing brakes
  • Complete regular Automotive servicing
  • Excellent customer service skills

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following:

  • Previous tyre fitting experience is preffered
  • Previous mechanical experience is preffered
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Working as part of a team
  • Self motivation
  • A current open manual driver’s license required
  • Sound knowledge and adherence to OH&S practices
