Description:
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES
- Diploma in Mechanical technology or equivalent
- Strong mechanical background
- Familiarity with reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics
- Thorough understanding of techniques in the use of hand tools, soldering, crimping and measurement equipment
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment
- 1 - 2+ years’ experience in a mechanical field
- Previous experience working in an AS9100 environment an asset
- Experience with Lean manufacturing an asset
- Diploma in Mechanical technology or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, repair, rework and/or troubleshoot complex opto-mechanical lens assemblies
- Maintenance of system file and tracking assembly documents
- Ensure all tasks are completed to scheduled delivery date
- Generate Non-Conformance Reports
- Afternoon Shift work required
