Your main responsibilities
- Technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various mechanical building systems projects
- Work as part of a team to carry out building-related mechanical systems design projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
- Connect with clients to understand their needs
- Survey existing installations
- Analyze, design and adapt building-related installations
- Draft pre-project studies and various types of client reports
- Assess the construction cost budget, help set schedules
- Write specifications and technical reports
- Interdisciplinary coordination with external professionals
- Provide assistance in regards to site supervision
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Engineer under the Terms and Conditions of the PEO
- Five (5) years of experience in engineering consulting
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Proficient in French - an asset
- Good knowledge in relevant codes and standards in building mechanical engineering and consulting
- Flexible, ability to work independently or as part of a team, skilled communicator
- Leadership and excellent customer service
