What you will be doing:
The Maintenance Craftsperson, Mechanical, is a member of the MAM Site Maintenance Team. The maintenance team is responsible for technical ownership of manufacturing assets through efficient execution of various maintenance strategies. This position holds technical ownership of a set of production equipment by means of execution of preventive maintenance tasks, diagnosis of technical issues, repair & prevention of reoccurrence of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Activities
- Preventive and predictive maintenance of production equipment to ensure continuity and optimization of business infrastructure, safety, quality and environment according to site procedures and current GMP standards.
- Involvement in initiatives to optimize production and eliminate recurring malfunctions in a multidisciplinary expertise context.
- Participation or lead role with regards to problem solving via RCA or similar methodology to find the underlying root cause and thereby improve the reliability of the production plant.
- Technical ownership with respect to assigned equipment and acts as SPOC (Single Point of Contact) depending on performance management, optimization and innovation opportunities.
- Analysis of cost / benefit before proceeding to replace materials and considering the usefulness of revision versus replacement.
- Optimizing maintenance plans by challenging the status quo and by benchmarking with other equipment’s, plants and sites.
Key Interactions & Relationships
- Consults maintenance supervisor / manager on setting the right priorities in accordance with the applicable notification and gatekeeping.
- Interacts with the maintenance planner / scheduler prior to the execution of scheduled activities.
- Works closely with production supervisors and operators for permits, diagnosis of technical issues, testing after changes, or as requested.
- Connects with compliance and reliability for support in complex technical or compliance related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS
We would love to hear from YOU if you have the following essential requirements:
- Minimum 4 years apprenticeship time completed.
- Experience working in the pharma environment.
- Time served as a fitter is required, up to 2 years.
- Good demonstration of GMP and GDP.
