Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development, design, change and / or enhancement of products or features of products for all our product ranges by applying a reliable and cost-effective approach.
  • Draw up plans using computer-assisted engineering & design software.
  • Accurately define material, construction, labor costs as well as project timelines.
  • Contribute to the development of mock-ups, prototypes, 3D systems that allow presenting and testing the product.
  • Generate documentation for the production of design history files & device master record.
  • Create and maintain Bill of materials for production in ERP system.
  • Create and review supportive training content: written procedures, FAQs, presentations, … for use in enhancing our customer’s support experience as well as internal product knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure proper documentation compliant to R&D process.
  • Support transfer of Barkey product know-how to new R&D colleagues.
