Air Unlimited is in search of a Mechanical Design Engineer. The successful applicant will be a self-starter who is a highly motivated individual. They will play a key role in creating designs, revising existing products, providing installation support by preparing cost estimates and coordinating project builds. With their enthusiastic and ambitious approach to providing the highest quality customer service, they will play a definite key role in enhancing our corporate image and reputation.

BENEFICIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Solid Works and Microsoft Office Platform
  • Experience in manufacturing is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in project coordination
  • Motivated team player with strong written and organizational skills

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • Post secondary education or relative experience as Mechanical Engineer / Designer or Mechanical Engineering Technologist. (2+ years)

Responsibilities:

  • Complete CAD design and drawings for custom enclosure packages
  • Prepare cost estimates for mechanical and electrical packages
  • Coordinate projects building with subtrades and internal staff
  • Develop strategies to improve build efficiencies
  • Research new products related to the industry
  • Assist in new system design and implementation
  • Work with consulting engineering firms when required
  • Other duties as assigned
