Hamilton Central Europe is located in Timisoara, Romania and develops and produces microliter syringes, needles, dosing pumps, pipetting modules and accessories for analytical and research laboratories, as well as accessories for medical devices used in intensive care units. In addition, we provide financial accounting services for the Hamilton companies.

Job Description:

• Design, develop, analyze, and test mechanical solutions for the new projects and existing Hamilton products in CAD software
• Create detailed mechanical requirements specification
• Create Engineering Product Specification according to the product proposal
• Create technical specifications, design concepts, 3D models and 2D detailed drawings
• Create Item documentation for integration and change in ERP D365 system
• Revise existing technical specifications, 3D models and 2D detailed drawings
• Develop testing tools and equipment required for testing/validation report
• Develop detailed technical specifications for products that are for sale
• Analyze and solve technical problems, provide solutions in a timely manner
• Provide mentoring to junior mechanical design engineers
• Investigates new possibilities of product improvements
• Build and test prototypes

Professional experience & skills desired to have:

• Experience with Pro Engineer/Creo
• Experience with Windchill
• Experience more than 5+ years in product development
• Technical University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Good English skills, German is a plus
• Creative, team oriented
• Problem solving attitude
• Well organized person, self-responsible
• Passionate about mechanical design and eager to mentor junior mechanical designers
• Proven ability to understand mechanical specifications and design detailed mechanical design solutions
• Capable of contributing to mechanical architecture
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
• Good knowledge of mechanical assembly principles
• Good technical understandings, dimensional and tolerance calculation
• Nice to Have:
• Experience selecting and integrating stepper motors/brushless motors, leadscrews/ball screws, linear guides etc.
• Experience in design of machined parts, sheet metal parts, plastic parts, and die-casted parts
• Experience with Rapid prototyping
