Description:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II / Footwear Designer, to join our Industrial automation (IA) team Brno offices and reporting to the local Personal protective equipment Engineering Manager.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer II / Footwear Designer you will partner with world-class Personal Protective equipment (PPE) engineering and multi-functional team to develop new footwear products for protecting the life and safety of workers all over the world.
Our Industrial Footwear product line offers a wide range of safety footwear under different brand name Honeywell, Otter, MTS and King’s.
We work closely with end users alike through innovative product design, quality manufacturing, solid marketing, training, and support to our customers.

KEY EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:
- Bachelors Degree in engineering field, industrial design, footwear sector preferred.
- Minimum 3 years footwear design experience preferred, or design development of product contain various fabrics, rubbers and molding process.
- Familiar with design software’s used in footwear.
- Experience in product development and dealing with manufacturers.
- Familiarity with Safety footwear and key safety components.
- 2D/3D experience, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
Responsibilities:
- Development of all requested styles according to Footwear business roadmap.
- Modification of current portfolio with new features according to market needs.
- Component analysis, material selection, and testing support.
- Deliver Technical documentation for manufacturing and certification
