Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D Department. In this role, you will play a key role in designing new products and components, as well as managing the development process. Your contributions will directly impact the enhancement of existing Resideo water products (HVAC and potable water).

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal specifications.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical Engineers, systems Engineers, and project Managers, to ensure the successful integration of mechanical designs.
• Conduct prototype testing and analysis.
• Identify and resolve design issues throughout the development process.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure expected outcomes.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and user manuals (change management).
  Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
