Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Designer Engineer for our Edmonton Plant.
He/She will work with engineering team on electrical distribution equipment to create mechanical adaptation to customer requirements.
This is an interesting opportunity for people who doesn’t like routine and are willing to work with many collaborators.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Plus, you have the following quality and certifications:
- Mechanical engineering technical college (DEC) or Bachelor ;
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role ;
- Knowledge of AutoCad, ProE/Creo & PDM/Windchill ;
- Practical knowledge related to engineering drawing ;
- Practical knowledge in fabrication of sheet metal and bus parts ;
- Demonstrated project management skills, to meet deadlines ;
- Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills ;
- Basic electricity knowledge ;
- Experience in electrical distribution equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and translate customer specification into drawings and instructions per local/corporative standards;
- Create 3D model to meet or exceed applicable standards (CSAL/UL/ANSI/ISO, etc.);
- Produce manufacturing and production 2D drawings per approved formats in a timely manner.
- Prepare Bill of Material for new designs and modifications to existing design;
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, production, quality and material management teams;
