THE TEAM

Join our Operations Maintenance & Engineering Department, supporting the production of both hearing aids (HA) and accessories for these. As part of this team, you will work at our headquarters in Lynge, Denmark, but the department supports ‘Global Manufacturing’ as well as WSA sites around the world.
In your new team, you will have 14 colleagues, each with skills and backgrounds in mechanical maintenance, product maintenance, automation, electronics, calibration, and the technical world in general. You will be part of a creative team of experienced individuals, and you can look forward to colleagues who are friendly, empathetic, and have a good sense of humor.

Responsibilities:

Your role as Mechanical Engineer will be pivotal, serving an important intermediary between R&D/New Product Implementation and Production. You will be responsible for, ECM processes and Mechanical Product Maintenance of hearing aids, accessories, and other relevant products. After training, you will take responsibility for updating products, documentation, and designs related to our hearing aids, tools, and associated components.

Primary responsibilities and tasks:

  • Mechanical development and Product Maintenance of tools for HA, HA Accessories, and related products
  • Development/Design and change of: Plastic, Metal and parts using CAD, PDM, and PLM (Creo, Agile, and Windchill, etc.)
  • SME – (Subject Matter Expert) on mechanical aspects of:
  • Complaints Management
  • Root Cause Analysis.
  • Engineering Change Request and Engineering Change Operations
  • Approval of replacement tool parts
