Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $33-$45/hourbase salary. OT paid out after 40 hours at 1.5 x hourly rate. Sundays or stats paid at 2 x hourly rate. 3% Employer Matching RRSP
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Mechanical Designer, you will be pivotal in developing automation processes and creating design packages for custom automation systems. This role combines technical expertise with practical application, focusing on delivering high-quality, functional machinery within set timelines and budgets.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience and interest in mechanical design of custom automation machines including robotics
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other engineering design tools
- Excellent understanding of mechanical components and their applications
- Ability to collaborate with teams and communicate effectively with suppliers and customers
- A commitment to continuous improvement and quality standards
