  • Experience in CAD software, preferably Inventor.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant discipline.

Responsibilities:

STEP INTO THE ROLE

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at MilDef, you will work within a project team responsible for mechanical solutions and design structures in both internal and customer-specific projects. You will create manufacturing drawings and also test and verify the mechanical design within the project scope.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other disciplines within the Engineering Department, providing support within your field of expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take responsibility for the mechanical designs and solutions within the project scope, and make sure it meets our high demands on quality.
  • Create manufacturing files and bill of materials.
  • Continuously document project tasks according to MilDef Product’s project process.
  • Report status on all mechanical aspects in assigned project to responsible project manager.
  • Contribute to building and verifying prototypes in the R&D laboratory together with the project team.
  • Take ownership of project-critical tasks with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and methods for the Mechanical Engineering team.
