Description:

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least two years professional work experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with structural analysis, simulation, and optimization tools is desirable.
  • Familiarity with drone components, propulsion systems, and aerodynamics is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to present and explain complex technical concepts. Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory, German skills beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for drones and drone boxes, considering factors such as manufacturability, structural integrity, and reliability.
  • Conduct simulations, analysis, and feasibility studies to ensure performance and safety of designs.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Prototype, test, and iterate designs to achieve desired performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drone technology.
