Responsibilities:
THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE WHERE YOU’LL WORK FROM THE OFFICE 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO BE ON-CALL FOR SET WEEKLY ROTATIONS. LOCATIONS WE CAN OFFER ARE MILTON KEYNES, IRLAM OR TELFORD.

CityFibre installs and operates a large number of Micro-Edge Datacentres (FEX) and Fibre Active Cabinets (FAC) across the UK. As our M&E Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the development and delivery of our colocation, datacentre and FEX/FAC portfolio using skills that include design, vendor management, financial modelling, facility, and project management. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Supporting on architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies
- Implementing the M&E FEX/FAC lifecycle
- Implementing the strategy around monitoring
- Acting as the point of escalation for network issues from tier 3 and engineering
- Managing key vendor relationship
