To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant engineering software.
  • Previous experience in project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide innovative engineering solutions to complex technical problems, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Work collaboratively with teams from various departments to develop, design, build, and test new equipment.
  • Modify and enhance existing equipment to drive continuous improvement.
  • Create and manage mechanical drawings, ensuring they adhere to our strict plant standards.
  • Lead project management activities for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with different departments including process engineering, controls, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Conduct FMEA and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Use SolidWorks to create models and conduct engineering analysis on components and systems.
  • Generate comprehensive specifications and documentation.
  • Develop and implement engineering test plans, activities for validation and verification, as well as engineering reports.
  • Collaborate with customers to address project requirements, problem-solving, and process optimization.
