REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant engineering software.
- Previous experience in project management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to engage with diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide innovative engineering solutions to complex technical problems, ensuring flawless execution.
- Work collaboratively with teams from various departments to develop, design, build, and test new equipment.
- Modify and enhance existing equipment to drive continuous improvement.
- Create and manage mechanical drawings, ensuring they adhere to our strict plant standards.
- Lead project management activities for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with different departments including process engineering, controls, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams.
- Conduct FMEA and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Use SolidWorks to create models and conduct engineering analysis on components and systems.
- Generate comprehensive specifications and documentation.
- Develop and implement engineering test plans, activities for validation and verification, as well as engineering reports.
- Collaborate with customers to address project requirements, problem-solving, and process optimization.
