Mechanical Engineer (6 months contract)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• NITEC Certificate or equivalent in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on manufacturing/workshop experience
• Good mechanical assembly skills
• Proficient with Solidworks, Creo Parametric, Autocad Inventor and able to produce BOMs and schematic drawings
• Responsible, a team player, able to communicate in English and integrate well in an international environment

• Provide support on the mechanical engineering aspects of all technical department activities.
• Prepare technical drawings/specs for any mechanical engineering-related products.
• Assist in sourcing for vendors for the fabrication of mechanical parts for existing or new products.
• Liaise with vendors fabricating mechanical parts to ensure adherence to our designs/specifications, and perform quality checks upon delivery.
• Provide mechanical engineering support to the other departments, e.g. Production/Repairs etc, to resolve any customer queries or product returns, as and when required.
• Adhere to, and perform, all relevant roles and responsibilities stated in the company’s QEHS manual and procedures.
