We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Designer to join our team and help contribute to the design and application of Industrial Noise and Vibration Control equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s or Bachelor Degree in Science, Mathematics or related fields.
- Experience in HVAC would be an asset.
- Understanding of sound and vibration systems, materials and mitigation techniques.
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of airflow, CFM, Static and Pressure Loss
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 programs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and delegate
- 5 years experience in field

Responsibilities:
- Conduct acoustic modeling, simulations, and analysis to evaluate sound propagation and noise levels in various environments.
- Design and implement noise control solutions, such as soundproofing, damping, or vibration isolation systems.
- Develop strategies to optimize sound quality for products, systems, or environments.
- Analyze measurement data to identify sources of noise and vibration and propose mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.
- Ensure all designs and systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and designers to integrate acoustic and noise control solutions into products or structures.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations during project planning and execution.
- Research new materials, technologies, and methodologies for sound and noise control.
- Stay updated on advancements in acoustics and noise engineering to enhance system performance and efficiency.
