FUEL INJECTION EQUIPMENT

Do you want to take part in the journey for decarbonizing two-stroke propulsion engines, and help the green transition for the global fleet of vessels, which moves the majority of the world’s cargo?
At MAN Energy Solutions we are designing fuel injection equipment for low-carbon fuels of the future such as methanol and ammonia. By leveraging our vast experience along with innovative and creative development, we seek to change the traditional way of fueling two-stroke engines for the maritime industry.
Our construction and design department are looking for a Mechanical Engineer, who has interest in engine and mechanical design, as well as flair for documentation, coordination, and project work.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of various fuel injection equipment and other related mechanical parts by means of CAD tools and calculations.
  • Ensuring that the design is compliant with the requirement specification and rules, and carry it through design review across, R&D, Engineering and Operations.
  • Conducting necessary documentation and communication in relation to each design task.
  • Being creative and bringing new ideas and perspectives to the way we work.
  • Organizing and participating in meetings with colleagues and external partners, including preparation of presentation material.
  • Troubleshoot on design issues on existing equipment together with other departments.
    You will be trained in technical areas that are necessary for managing the tasks and responsibilities in the department. The training will be organized in accordance with specific needs depending on your profile.
