Description:
MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Mechanical Engineer required to join a large M&E Contractors on a range of Commercial, Data Centre, and Residential Projects in Dublin. Our client is seeking an experience senior engineer who has experience managing junior engineers and who is highly experienced in HVAC.

REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with an M&E contractor in the UK or Ireland is essential.
- IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- The successful Mechanical Commissioning Manager must be in Ireland or the UK at present and eligible to work without the need for a permit.

Responsibilities:
- Attend Project Handover meetings to receive the project package and develop QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documents.
- Conduct design reviews and value engineering based on project documentation, recording all findings.
- Help produce a Programme of Works for the project.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to review Plant Packages before ordering.
- Assist in coordinating mechanical services and builder’s work drawings with the Site/Project Manager.
- Manage and deliver Quality Assured Documents.
- Oversee document control, including drawings, RFIs, Tech Sub Log, schedules, and QA Packs.
- Support site management with project variations when necessary.
- Aid in O&M (Operation & Maintenance) development and delivery.
- Assist with the commissioning process, including programme revisions, subcontractor coordination, and certification uploads.
- Adhere to internal templates and ISO standards.
