What You Will Do
- Design and optimize mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, central plants, and fire protection, tailored to healthcare environments.
- Apply knowledge of healthcare-specific standards to ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional design quality.
- Solve complex engineering challenges using advanced tools and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, suppliers, and approval agencies to deliver projects that meet budgets, schedules, and performance goals.
- Support the development of energy-efficient and sustainable systems that elevate patient care and reduce environmental impact.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional engineering certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably in healthcare-focused building design.
- Proficiency with engineering tools like Revit and Load Calculation software.
- Expertise in all phases of system design, from concept to detail, for healthcare facilities.
- Strong understanding of healthcare design standards, regulations, and codes.
- Exceptional problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
