Job Title: Multi-Skilled Mechanical/Plumber Technician

Job Summary: As a Multi-Skilled Mechanical/Plumber Technician at Integral UK, you will play a critical role in providing top-quality mechanical and plumbing maintenance services at Thames Valley Business Park. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical and plumbing systems within commercial properties. You will need to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues related to HVAC, water supply, drainage, and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and periodic maintenance of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
  • Respond to service requests promptly and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Install, repair, and upgrade HVAC systems, including but not limited to air conditioning units, boilers, chillers, and fan coil units.
  • Conduct tests and assessments of water supply, drainage, and other plumbing systems to identify faults and leaks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Identify and source necessary replacement parts for mechanical and plumbing systems, adhering to budget constraints.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, servicing reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and follow established protocols when handling hazardous materials.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and new technologies related to mechanical and plumbing systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a multi-skilled mechanical/plumber technician or a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, including HVAC, water supply, drainage, and related components.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and materials necessary for maintenance and repairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to adhere to them.
  • Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in plumbing, mechanical, or related fields preferred.
