JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Lead and conduct precise troubleshooting of complex problems and working with relevant stakeholders to study the problem systematically and identify effective countermeasures.
• Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and repairing machinery & equipment.
• Playing an active role in executing preventive maintenance, accuracy inspection or any other preferred maintenance program
• Work closely with the Manager/Mechanical Superintendent(s) to analyze data of plants’ critical equipment from predictive and preventive maintenance activities and make necessary recommendations
• Draft and revise maintenance work procedures and work instructions.
• Monitor plant maintenance expenditure and carry out cost saving initiatives and price comparison for high value purchases of non-OEM services, materials and parts.
• Develop the technical designs, including finalizing engineering design documentations, Management of Change (MOC) and Request For Approval (RFA) for minor plant modification works;
• Ensuring that machinery, infrastructure and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime
• Understand plant drawings, mechanical drawings, electrical drawings and PLCS.
• Has machine mechanical /electrical / PLC maintenance experience
• Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and repairing machinery & equipment
• Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / Power point) can be used
• Install new equipment and to perform checks following installation to ensure that all systems are in working order.
• Support plant operation maintenance including spare part management, trouble shooting via on call or on site.
• Implementing site wide EHS procedures for maintenance activities and actively drive safety & Quality culture
• Lead in search, technical review and evaluation of applicable technology, process, equipment and / or material proposals.
• Prepare procurement document including drafting of tender specifications, execution, and evaluation.
• Manage consultant, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers to ensure a successful implementation of the assigned projects.
• Wide EHS procedures for maintenance activities and actively drive safety & Quality culture.
• To assist and support the maintenance manager for Technical support (advice, material selection, Purchasing order, maintenance history records, and preventive maintenance plan).
• To train and guide the maintenance teams for Continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years’ hand-on experience in industrial plant repair and maintenance.
• Good mechanical engineering knowledge besides possessing outstanding organization and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Plant process maintenance and machineries which include diverse types of compressors, turbine, boiler, generator, blowers, centrifuges, ventilator, condensers, all types of motor & pumps, gears, heat exchanger and other equipment.
• Driven, analytical with good negotiation, interpersonal, and communication abilities
