PALFINGER MARINE Norway is seeking highly motivated and skilled engineers to join our mechanical discipline. With us you will participate in developing state-of-the-art and reliable products for the future.
The position is planned to be connected to the Offshore Crane team, which develops and designs various types of cranes and lifting solutions such as fixed, single, knuckle, lattice boom, overhead cranes etc. The engineering department also includes a team for winches and various types of handling and access equipment, meaning there are fantastic opportunities for getting a diverse working day and personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS
- MSc or BSc degree in mechanical engineering or closely related disciplines
- Experience in mechanical engineering - preferably design of cranes or other lifting appliances
- Practical use of 3D design tools (We use Autodesk Inventor)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience from leading engineering teams in projects
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design of steel structures and assemblies
- Component specification and selection
- Interdisciplinary coordination and communication in projects
- Preparation and verification of technical documentation and drawings
- Technical clarifications towards suppliers and clients
