Description:
Responsibilities:
- Promote and provide a safe workplace, seek improvements, support Health & Safety Program.
- Support compliance with collective agreements and sound union / management / employee relations.
- Manage and lead projects, project assistance and studies assigned while abiding to environmental guidelines and regulations.
- Abide by internal procedures and controls for engineering and construction activities that conform to sound financial maintenance and operating plans.
- Ensure capital projects are prepared and completed in conformance with CPA guidelines and controls.
- Advise and recommend changes or opportunities to the Papermill to reduce operating costs.
- Identify capital projects providing opportunities to maximize profitability to the Papermill operations.
- Recommending of spare parts and purchasing of standard equipment.
- Report to Engineering Supervisor
