Description:

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of product development experience who thrives on turning ideas into reality? Do you get excited about designing innovative solutions and have a knack for dynamic mechanical systems or fluid dynamics? If this sounds like you, keep reading; we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Imagine working at a place where your creativity and expertise fuel the future of cardiovascular device testing. Welcome to ViVitro Labs! We’re not just any company; we’re the go-to partner for medical device engineers around the globe. Our mission? To empower innovators by providing cutting-edge, modular test equipment that takes the guesswork (and the risk!) out of cardiovascular device development.
As a Mechanical Engineer here, you’ll report directly to the Director of Product Development and work on projects throughout the product development cycle. From defining requirements to sketching concepts to bringing them to life on the manufacturing floor, you’ll be at the forefront of creating top-tier test systems used worldwide. Your work will ensure our test products continue to set the gold standard in quality and innovation.
If you’re ready to join a fun and dynamic team where your ideas are valued and your work makes a difference, apply now and let’s build something amazing together!

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES THAT WILL HELP YOU THRIVE:

  • Training and experience with FEA modeling of mechanical components.
  • Experience with CFD/FSI analysis of fluid systems and fluid dynamics.
  • Background in biomedical engineering or electromechanical systems.

WHAT DOES THE INTERVIEW PROCESS INVOLVE? WE’RE NOT JUST INTERVIEWING YOU AT EVERY STEP. WE WANT YOU TO INTERVIEW US AND ASK QUESTIONS AS WELL.

  • Online Screening interview: We appreciate the interest of all applicants. If you are shortlisted, a recruiter will contact you to schedule a screening interview. This initial conversation will typically start with small talk before the recruiter starts with leading questions, a cue to begin sharing more about your experience and skills. It is important to demonstrate strong communication skills and technical ability.
  • Online Preliminary Interview: If you are successful, we’ll invite you to meet with the Director of Product Development (the Hiring Manager). To succeed in this interview, you must be engaging - explain your technical expertise, ask insightful questions, actively listen, and ask more questions. That’s precisely what we are looking for in you.
  • In-person comprehensive interviews: Once you demonstrate strong technical abilities to succeed as a Mechanical Engineer, we will invite you to the office to meet the team, take an office tour, and participate in additional interviews, including the Final Interview with a hiring manager and someone from the People & Culture team. We encourage you to see this as a two-way conversation to succeed in this interview. Explain your expertise, ask insightful questions, actively listen, and ask more questions.
What is the target start date for this role? We’re motivated to hire now! If this opportunity excites you, please apply through the ViVitro Labs Portal.
