About the Role:

MEQ is seeking motivated, forward-thinking individuals to assist in the Production, maintenance, design, assembly, and deployment of our cutting-edge products. The role will involve working closely with engineers to support mechanical system development, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and improving manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Engineers in the design of mechanical equipment and providing suggestions to improve manufacturability and maintenance .
  • Researching and incorporating appropriate tools, equipment, and components for assembly and installation.
  • Conducting manufacturing and product assembly
  • Leading onsite installations and commissioning of equipment.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and Refurbishing/maintaining returned products.
  • Ensuring finished work/products comply with engineering design specifications
  • Designing and implementing process improvements, including jigs and fixtures, to enhance production and maintenance efficiency
  • Testing, recording and validating instrument performance
  • Hardware troubleshooting and documentation.
  • Managing inventory and coordinating with engineering teams when components specifications change.
  • Traveling to installation sites as required.

Skills and Experience:

Candidates with the following attributes are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • Minimum 2 years Experience in similar role
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
  • Experience selecting and working with electromechanical components.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and software.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
