QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, equipment, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and team members.
- Knowledge of mechanical testing methods and instrumentation is a plus.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and assembly.
- Certification in relevant mechanical technology fields.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and prototyping of mechanical components and systems.
- Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Support engineers in the development of mechanical products by conducting tests and gathering data.
- Perform hands-on tasks including assembly, disassembly, and testing of mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist in resolving problems.
- Conduct material and component analysis, ensuring that designs meet specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Assist in creating reports and documentation for ongoing projects.
- Maintain and organize technical equipment and lab resources.
