Vin Industrial Pty Ltd is a leading engineering service company, dedicated to innovation, quality, and excellence in everything we do. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team and help drive the success of our engineering projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, equipment, and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and team members.
  • Knowledge of mechanical testing methods and instrumentation is a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and assembly.
  • Certification in relevant mechanical technology fields.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and prototyping of mechanical components and systems.
  • Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Support engineers in the development of mechanical products by conducting tests and gathering data.
  • Perform hands-on tasks including assembly, disassembly, and testing of mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist in resolving problems.
  • Conduct material and component analysis, ensuring that designs meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
  • Assist in creating reports and documentation for ongoing projects.
  • Maintain and organize technical equipment and lab resources.
