Position: Engineering Apprentice
Location: The Original Gauge Company Ltd, www.thegauge.co.uk
Responsibilities:
· Learn the skills of thread grinding and CNC lathe operation using XYZ CNC Machine control
· Master the use of various metrology, metal cutting, and grinding techniques
· Contribute to projects supporting Formula One teams, Aerospace, Nuclear, Automotive, Mining, and Renewable Energy industries
Requirements:
· Enthusiasm for engineering and a keen interest in precision machining
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team
· Basic knowledge of engineering concepts is a plus
