REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical Knowledge: HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, BOQ preparation, cost analysis.
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS Excel, Estimation Software (e.g., HAP, Primavera).
• Soft Skills: Analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and negotiation.
  Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  Experience: 2-4 years in mechanical estimation for construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects.

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQ to prepare cost estimates.
• Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals and quotations.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material pricing and quotations.
• Work with project managers and procurement teams to ensure cost control and budget adherence.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements in estimation.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization strategies.
• Maintain and update cost databases for materials and labor.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to estimation and budget analysis.
