Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Work on a large range of plant / equipment
- Support breakdowns / shift work
- Support shutdowns (Step up into supervisor or co-ordinator) role
- Undertake tasks with the view of long term repairs and meeting a high standard of quality of workmanship
- Ensure that maintenance work complies with statutory and AS/NZ standards and requirements, using OEM manuals and the support of peers and engineers
- Perform fault diagnosis, maintenance and servicing work safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions
- Read and extract information from engineering drawings, specification diagrams and maintenance manuals
- Prepare the work area for maintenance of plants, systems or components
- Use site systems and the SAP system to ensure all maintenance documentation is completed and archived in accordance with site procedures
- Work within the on-demand system to respond flexibly to changing priorities
- Ensure that contractors are inducted/supervised during service visits where necessary prior to accessing facilities
