Responsibilities:
STEP INTO THE ROLE
As a Mechanical Engineer in MilDef’s Solutions team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our products meet and exceed industry standards. Your contributions will span system design, including platform integration, cable routing, and creating robust solutions for harsh environments. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and customers, managing the process from concept to installation and verification. With your technical expertise and proactive problem-solving skills, you’ll drive innovation and help deliver products that consistently surpass customer expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and verify external and internal cable systems for MilDef and third-party products, ensuring they meet environmental and performance standards.
- Create cable routing and mounting solutions aligned with system and customer requirements.
- Produce manufacturing drawings, bills of materials.
- Work with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues and deliver optimal design solutions.
- Contribute to system design, integration, and validation.
- Support continuous improvements in systems engineering processes, tools, and documentation to enhance efficiency and innovation.
