Description:
About the job for EV E-Cooling Compressor
- Responsible for mechanical packaging, thermal, and vibration Garrett-designed Garrett inverters (variable speed drives) as it is integrated into an automotive electrified powertrain assembly.
- Design to exceed performance, reliability (vibration, thermal, sealing …), and packaging specifications.
- Work with our CAD designers and simulation engineers to develop controller 3D design from concept to production status.
- Leverage your knowledge to coordinate with internal and external resources on electrical/mechanical interactions, tolerancing, thermal management, vibration, sealing robustness, design to cost, and manufacturing.
- Interact with our Product Line and customers to agree on interfaces and packaging constraints.
Participate in DFMEAs to identify and mitigate risks.Ownership of overall controller 2D & 3D drawings as well as version management in line with our standard tools and processes.
