SUMMARY

As a Mechanical Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical integration of space components on a project level. Following integration procedures and standard processes, you will assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and subsystems together with harnessing to create functional hardware.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

  • Master of Engineering, e.g. mechanical, electro-mechanical, or similar
  • 2-4 years’ experience as a mechanical integration engineer
  • Soldering experience on electronic hardware is preferred
  • Experience writing and communicating technical reports in English
  • Must be fluent (verbal & written) in English and Polish

Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and validation of ground and critical flight hardware, including mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, test harnessing, and ground support equipment
  • Perform first order assembly/subassembly fit checks and performance test campaigns in coordination with system engineering, component-level leak testing
  • Identify and communicate possible hardware non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance leads
  • Responsible for the management and calibration of measuring instruments
  • Plan and coordinate integrations tasks
