Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Jurong Island)

• Lead a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors in performing all the plant maintenance, modification, and construction activities to ensure work are carried timely, safely and with good maintenance practices with no disruption to plant oprations.
• Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant maintenance and modifications works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
• Carry out mechanical study and modification of plant facilities according to technical specification and business requirements.
• Performs technical investigation on plant equipment troubles, evaluation of findings and recommend countermeasures to effectively prevent recurrences of similar problems
• Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.
• Respond to plant emergency calls and resolve mechanical troubles within tight schedule.
• Implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 450001 and SS651.
