Description:

An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic project team. Based from our hub in Altham, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects within the Northwest Frameworks. This role presents an exciting chance to contribute to projects ranging from £250k to £8M, partnering with leading water companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring budgets to ensure adherence to allocated allowances, employing advanced cost management techniques to prevent any exceeding financial limits.
  • Demonstrating exceptional client relationship management skills, maintaining open and constructive communication channels to ensure client satisfaction and trust are upheld throughout the project’s lifecycle.
  • Collaborating effectively in crafting and executing project management strategies, assisting with program generation, monitoring progress, and delivering comprehensive progress reports, all while aligning with industry best practices.
  • Efficiently generate and implement procurement schedules, demonstrating strong coordination abilities with subcontractors and suppliers to optimize the project’s supply chain and enhance overall project efficiency.
  • Employing a high level of technical expertise to closely collaborate with the design department, ensuring the development of safe, practical, and maintainable designs for mechanical projects. Additionally, adeptly create and implement meticulous quality plans to meet and achieve project standards and objectives.
