REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Professional Engineering license or passed FE
  • Previous project engineer experience.
  • Previous plant facilities experience.
  • Previous experience in oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures to generate functional and practical solutions across various facility needs.
  • Coordinate multi-discipline engineering and design activities.
  • Communicate with clients and third parties regarding project scope, status, and technical interface issues.
  • Provide concise, factual project designs, allowing effective construction/installation.
  • Work with other engineers, designers, construction QA/QC, and contractors.
  • Perform plant walk-downs to evaluate the site, project requirements, and conditions.
  • Follow best work practices, client standards, and relevant industry design codes.
