Mechanical Service Technician ($38 to $42 per hour)

Our client is a supplier of machinery to the food industry. They are currently looking for a field service technician to service their clients primarily in the area between GTA and KW region.
Candidates who come from a food processing or food production background will be the best fit. However, if you can demonstrate strong mechanical/millwright skill working with plant based manufacturing equipment, you will also be a good candidate.
The position requires regional travel to visit customer sites in the area and will require a person who is professional with good communication skills.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday daytime, with flexibility to perform some after-hours and weekend work with overtime compensation.

• 5 years experience as millwright or electromechanical technician
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driver’s abstract with ability to safely operate service vehicle
• Valid passport with ability to travel out of country for training
• Available for service calls at customers sites around geographic region
• Available for Mon-Fri day schedule with flexibility for occasional off hours or weekend
• Customer facing with professional communication skills
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
