Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an entry Level Mechanical Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our team working on the Mardi Water Treatment Plant. We are undertaking the design, development and construction for upgrades to the Mardi Water Treatment Plant (WTP) for the Central Coast Council Water and Sewer. The upgrades will provide increased capacity for safe drinking water to cater for the growth of the Central Coast region.

This role would suit either an experienced Leading Hand ready to take the next step in their career, or someone in the early stages of their career as a Supervisor. Day to day you will;

  • Work closely with our Project Manager and Senior Mechanical Supervisor to effectively manage all jobs under construction.
  • Assist in managing multiple work fronts efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Promote and maintain safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage project resources, including direct labour ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
  • Problem-solve technical issues within a team environment.
