REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering
  • Systems thinking
  • Innovative and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, especially in English
  • Understanding of the design and analysis tools relevant to the function (e.g. Ansys, NX, Teamcenter)
  • Strong technical aptitude related to components and systems of increasing complexity
  • Must be independent engineer that executes with minimum guidance
  • GD&T understanding
  • Understanding basics of fluid mechanics
  • Projects leadership experience

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and execution of design efforts related to technology maturation for new engine programs
  • Execute mechanical systems design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
  • Meeting the schedule and technical program requirements
  • Creation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments
  • Participation as a presenter in technical and program reviews (IPR, Design reviews, Test Reviews, Reg Flag Reviews)
  • Preparation of action plans to anticipate and respond to challenges
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks
  • Coordinate and execute assigned individual and team projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirement
