MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN COPENHAGEN PROJECT

Did you know that self-driving metros operate in Copenhagen? Imagine that thanks to you these metros could run smoothly for another 20 years! Alstom the Netherlands has been tasked with refurbishing 34 metros at the Waalhaven in Rotterdam. You can help make this project a great success!
We are looking for multiple people who will work in teams on the metros starting from October 2024. The metro will first be completely stripped down and then rebuilt by you. The project will be gradually scaled up, starting with one metro and one team. Eventually, multiple teams will work in parallel performing the same tasks.

YOUR ROLE

You will be part of a newly formed team with a team leader, 2 other mechanical technicians, and 4 electrical technicians. Together, the eight of you will be responsible for one metro at a time.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• removing doors, floors, windows, seats, etc., from the metro
• Repairing corrosion
• installing new floors
• installing seats
• fitting doors and windows
• installing interior panels and lighting
• performing other similar tasks
