As we continue to grow our business and enhance our service offerings locally, we are eagerly seeking a highly motivated, technically competent, Mechanical Technologist within Atlantic Canada.

WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE LOOKS LIKE

  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Mechanical Technologist.
  • Graduation from a Mechanical Engineering Technology program accredited by the Canadian Technology Accreditation Board/Technology Accreditations Canada, a national accreditation organization for engineering technology and applied science professions.
  • Must be eligible for membership by NBSCETT, the certifying organization for Engineering/Applied Science Technicians and Technologists in New Brunswick
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D producing technical documents and construction drawings.
  • Develop layouts and design of mechanical building systems such as, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, fire protection systems, plumbing and drainage systems, control systems and specialized systems (compressed air, medical gases, natural gas, fuel oil, etc.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of architectural and mechanical standards, building sciences, construction technologies and practices.
  • Ability to work with a team to produce working drawings and 3D models of mechanical designs for innovative multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Knowledge of the national building codes, ASHRAE, CSA and NFPA standards
  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedicated to meeting project deadlines and working efficiently.
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently.
  • Ability to manage several tasks on multiple projects simultaneously.
