Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar field
  • Experience: Practical experience in testing safety relevant mechatronics systems on component- and system level, ideally in the commercial vehicles or automotive industry

SKILLS:

  • Extensive problem-solving skills (technology and process)
  • Effective communication style and ability to quickly integrate in high-performing, welcoming and collaborative team
  • Practical experience with automotive testing tools including the following: Vector CANape (incl. CAPL), IBM Doors Next, IBM ETM, tracetronic ecu.test
  • Solid understanding of ISO26262 and related processes, methods and tools
  • Very good German and English language skills

Responsibilities:

  • Component- and System tests for electromechanical steering actuators with the focus on E/E:
  • Extend and continuously improve the existing component level test environment (component test bench)
  • Improve existing and write new component test cases with a focus on E/E (mainly application software functions but also base software content and E/E hardware)
  • Implement and automate test cases in component test environment
  • Conduct test runs on component test environment
  • Improve overall traceability (requirement to test case to test runs to test reports)
  • Support the existing system level test environment (vehicle HiL) in integrating the steering actuator, implementing and conducting test cases as well as analyzing issues
  • Support component testing activities in vehicles (European CE driving license advantageous but not required)
  • Troubleshoot technical issues found during testing or in the field
  • Functional Safety and Cyber Security Analyses and Documentation:
  • Support in creating functional safety analyses and artifacts
  • Collaborate with functional safety experts on implementing ISO26262 compliant test processes and artifacts
  • Support in creating cyber security analyses and artifacts
  • Collaborate with cyber security experts on implementing UN-ECE 154 & UN-ECE 155 compliant test processes and artifacts
  • Test Management:
  • Support in creating and tracking component test concepts and - plans
