We are looking to hire a PART TIME Med Lab Scientist to work in our Clinical Lab.
REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist (ASCP, AMT, NCA) registered, equivalent or eligible.
- 6 months to 1 year experience preferred but new graduates will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate of accredited school of medical technology or equivalent which meets CLIA requirements for high complexity testing.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs clerical, communication and computer duties.
- Obtains through proper phlebotomy technique assesses, processes, and distributes specimens from inpatients, outpatients and reference laboratory patients
- Assesses, and interprets data about patient’s status in order to identify each patient’s age-specific needs and provides the appropriate care.
- Assist with client and vendor billing duties.
- Works independently.
- Performs all levels of laboratory testing and QC and QI.
- Performs operational duties, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and acts as a resource for other laboratory personnel.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
