Description:

Location: Remotely, with some visits to the client’s site in Riyadh upon demand.
Years of Experience: 4+ years.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
The Media Crisis Planning and Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing crisis management strategies, ensuring the organization is prepared to handle potential crises effectively. This role includes preparing comprehensive crisis management documents, reports, and communication strategies, as well as coordinating with key stakeholders to mitigate risks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Management, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in crisis management, media relations, or public relations, including hands-on experience in managing high-profile crises.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop crisis management plans and strategies tailored to media scenarios and public relations challenges.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update relevant documentation and specialized reports related to crisis management and media response.
  • Monitor public sentiment, media coverage, and potential risks to anticipate and proactively respond to crises.
  • Lead the development of communication frameworks and protocols to handle crisis situations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure alignment on crisis communication strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions and simulations to ensure preparedness across the organization.
  • Provide real-time crisis communication support and guidance to executive leadership during crises.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in crisis management, aligning with organizational policies and procedures.
