We’re hiring for a Media Manager to join the team in Dubai working on the Arla account.
Purpose of the Role
As Media Manager you’ll effectively run the day to day planning on key accounts on digital, TV and offline, supporting the delivery of multiple workstreams in order to meet client expectations. Providing support to the senior team and taking responsibility for all administrative tasks within the team to ensure campaigns run smoothly and to plan, building strong meaningful client relationships and deliver exceptional client servicing.
You’ll work alongside both our agency and client in-house specialist teams as well as our clients themselves to plan and execute innovative, creative, and exceptionally effective campaigns. Utilising dentsu data sources to create robust consumer journeys to help inform strategic development and develop innovative campaigns and plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop media owner relationships in order to drive market leading planning for clients
  • Use your understanding of commercial opportunities and trading focuses to ensure investment is guided towards the most appropriate partners
  • Work with other departments to ensure a campaign goes live on time through the use of best practice and adherence to SLA’s, ensuring delivery of outstanding client service for your client according to appropriate contact strategy and client service plan.
  • Respond in a timely and accurate manner to client requests for information, working seamlessly with internal stakeholders and colleagues across the network in order to deal with their requests.
  • Work with, and brief, dentsu stakeholders to implement activation plans, ensuring the stakeholders deliver work to brief and on time and ensuring any learnings from campaign optimisation are actively applied to the campaign.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Solid experience in a media planning role for within an agency environment with experience in TV planning
  • External market awareness: both in the media industry and client-specific challenges.
  • Project management skills; able to draw up plans for delivery of work to deadlines and with all milestones plotted; follows up key deliverables to ensure timely delivery and head off any risks.
  • Ability to think and act proactively to create regular contact opportunities; shares information, experience and insight with client to build trust and mutual respect.
  • Excellent communicator, able to contribute to negotiation strategic and if involved can demonstrate flex in style depending on situation, thinking out of the box in reference to presenting innovative solutions to client challenges.
