Media Production Specialist Team Lead (fixed-term contract)

HYBRID WORK MODEL: MINIMUM TWO DAYS A WEEK IN THE OFFICE WITH OPTION TO WORK REMOTELY FOR REMAINING THREE DAYS

Contract type: Fixed-term contract linked to the project (The project is anticipated to run until July 2026)
We’re looking for an experienced Media Production Specialist to lead a small team of editors and designers on a dedicated, high volume project. The Team Lead should have experience in managing media workflows, people and a keen interest in AI/automation innovation for scale, as well as doing the work themselves.
The team will be working alongside our Learning Designers for a long term, high velocity project and is an exciting venture into a new way of working, which offers team autonomy on the set-up and roll out of systems. There will still be a high emphasis on quality, and creativity at scale, as well as quality learning.
The dedicated team will be working on the post-production of videos as well as graphic design for online learning, with some pre-production needs. The Team Lead should be able to quickly set-up workflows between media production and learning designers, drive the high velocity of work in a systematic manner across the team and support with change management.
While we are looking for a dedicated project team you will be fully integrated into the larger Construct Education company and culture. This includes the support of our senior production team members in setting this project up for success.

REQUIREMENTS

• Skill level: Mid-level
• Experience in leading a team
• Experience in AI / automation workflows within media production
• EdTech or similar industry experience
• Video Editing and/or Graphic Design (knowledge of both preferred)
• Adobe Premiere Pro / Illustrator
• Descript, Canva or similar knowledge
• Keen interest in Innovation and automation

• Drive high velocity workflows within media production
• Change management and execution
• Produce media assets to specification
• Facilitate reviews of work and implement feedback
• Streamline processesUpdate various progress platforms as you work (Trello, Slack, OA, etc.)
