Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Administrator in Union City, California. This role is in the healthcare industry where you will be expected to manage and carry out administrative tasks within a medical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming phone calls and addressing patient queries.
  • Coordinating and scheduling patient appointments, ensuring smooth patient flow.
  • Verifying patient eligibility and benefits, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Acquiring prior authorizations for medical procedures or treatments.
  • Handling patient check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Assisting in rooming patients and recording vital signs, maintaining patient comfort.
  • Operating EHR systems and other computer programs proficiently.
  • Performing medical insurance verification and billing functions.
  • Engaging in clinical trial operations and claim administration as required.
  • Possessing conversational ability in Spanish to better serve diverse patient population.

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Computer Programs is required
  • Experience with EHR SYSTEM is necessary
  • Must be comfortable Answering Inbound Calls on a regular basis
  • Should have knowledge of Billing Functions within a medical setting
  • Ability to create and interpret Charts and Graphs is preferred
  • Experience in Claim Administration is needed
  • Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations will be advantageous
  • Must be capable of performing Medical Insurance Verification tasks
  • Scheduling Appointments should be a familiar task
  • Proficiency in the Spanish Language is a plus
