MEDICAL ASSISTANT III

The Medical Assistant III position at City of Hope plays a crucial role in providing essential administrative, clerical, and non-invasive technical support services under the guidance of a licensed healthcare provider. This role involves contributing to the efficient functioning of healthcare facilities while ensuring patient well-being and satisfaction. Please note that specific job duties may vary depending on the facility’s size, location, and type.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Training in specialty specific assisting a plus
- Two years of experience in primary care clinical assisting, performing lab test and processing lab and diagnostic study orders, plus must meet one of the following additional experience requirements:
- Proficiency in Infusion scheduling, including managing schedule
- Mentoring and/or Precepting of other staff;
- Leading Clinic throughput;
- Leading Procedural Clinic
- Sterile Processing/Equipment Management
- Serving on a Quality Improvement Team
