Medical Assistant Job duties include:

  • Taking patient vital signs to be reported to your supervising provider
  • Using Athena EMR to track patient complains and histories to ensure optimal long-term care
  • Performing diagnostic tests
  • Administer immunizations to ensure optimal preventative care
  • Following up with patients and their requests via phone
  • Triaging patients experiencing medical emergencies
  • Discussing medications and their effects with patients under provider supervision
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must possess strong clinical as well as customer service skills
  • Strong technology aptitude
  • Prior experience in the field is required
